Job Description

  • Oversee and coordinate the production side of operations to ensure company goals are achieved, ranging from planning, coordination and control of manufacturing processes, through supply chain and inventory control, to shipping and service of products
  • Set daily/weekly/monthly objectives and communicate them to production personnel
  • Oversee, coach and motivate employees
  • Ensure production and shipments are on schedule and meet quality standards
  • Directly coordinate suppliers and the supply chain necessary to achieve production goals and timeframes
  • Manage the service department and oversee all aspects from RMA through QC
  • Identify issues in efficiency and suggest improvements
  • Train new employees on critical equipment and procedures
  • Enforce strict safety guidelines and company standards

The Successful Applicant

  • Dynamic and flexible individual with the ability to multi-task and manage the manufacturing environment
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education preferred
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in electronics production or assembly ranging from soldering to software loading
  • 2-3 years’ hands-on manager/supervisory experience in a configure-to-order manufacturing environment
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing practices with track record of driving impact in a lean environment
  • Strong communication skills, exceptional organizational skills and attention-to-detail required
  • Experience with QuickBooks and inventory management as well as MS Office applications beneficial
