Fort Collins Selects Intuicom for Traffic Control Communications

Boulder, CO, January 30, 2003 - Intuicom, Inc.™, a leader in wireless data networks, has been selected to provide the wireless communication components for the City of Fort Collins traffic system infrastructure. Intuicom's wireless traffic control networks will enable bi-directional wireless communication for the management and control of the growing traffic signal system.

Fort Collins traffic will utilize Intuicom's Communicator II™ transceiver. Communicator II transceivers have been put in place throughout the West with demonstrated ease of integration and superior performance and reliability.

As one of the major cities along Colorado's Front Range, Fort Collins has experienced considerable growth in recent years. A new traffic signal system has greatly improved traffic flow on Fort Collins' major roadways. The highlight of new developments is the Traffic Management Center (TMC) facility located on Linden Street. Interconnecting traffic signals with Intuicom's wireless communications provide a means of communication between the traffic signals in the street and the central signal system in the TMC.

"Intuicom has been very responsive to the short deadlines the City is under," said Eric Bracke, City Traffic Engineer. "We are pleased to be working with a local Colorado provider of wireless solutions for traffic."
