Intuicom and NextBus Form Strategic Relationship

Boulder, CO, March 10, 2004 - Intuicom®, Inc., a leader in wireless data networks, and NextBus Information Systems Inc. have entered into a strategic relationship to mutually pursue projects in the mass transit marketplace. This partnership brings together Intuicom's GPS-enabled wireless communication infrastructure with Next Bus's advanced high- precision GPS network technology, resulting in a turnkey solution to improve ridership and performance of mass transit systems.

Paired with an Intuicom network, the NextBus Passenger Information system can take the vehicle location data from the Intuicom network and deliver all of the capabilities of a NextBus system including forecasting arrival. Advantages of the Intuicom system are lower monthly expenses than either licensed radio or public data networks. Intuicom and NextBus have already deployed a system as a subset of the Denver RTD System in Boulder Colorado.

"Intuicom's wireless technology is an ideal solution for communities that cannot or do not wish to rely on the telecom providers for their communication networks or pay the ongoing costs associated with these services," said George Mount, Director of Product Management for NextBus.

"This relationship is an excellent match, combining NextBus Passenger Information systems and Intuicom's vehicle location solutions. The result is an effective and efficient solution that will benefit many transit agencies," said Tom Foley, President of Intuicom, Inc. "This relationship that makes sense for both organizations and the transit market."
