Intuicom Selected by Denver for Traffic Control Communications Boulder, CO, December 17, 2003- Intuicom, Inc.™, a leader in wireless data networks, has been selected to provide the wireless communication components for the City and County of Denver's traffic system infrastructure. Working with its partner, Traffic Signal Controls Inc., of Longmont, Colorado, Intuicom's wireless networks will enable bi-directional wireless communication for the management and control of the Denver's growing traffic signal system. Traffic Signal Controls Inc., (TSC), Colorado's leading supplier of traffic products and services company, was awarded the contract to provide Intuicom's Communicator II™ transceivers to Denver's traffic control system. The Communicator II transceivers have been tested and demonstrated ease of integration and superior performance and reliability for Denver's traffic communications. Intuicom's wireless communication system provides a means to quickly and easily expand communication and control of Denver's traffic signal system. As the major city along Colorado's Front Range, Denver has experienced considerable growth over the last decade. With over 1200 traffic signals within the City of Denver, increasing number of vehicles on the road, the city is taking steps to optimally manage its vehicle traffic. Interconnecting traffic signals provides a means of communication between the traffic signals in the street and the central signal system in the traffic management center.
