Intuicom Announces Expanded Bluetooth Bridge Support for Construction Layout Tools

Bluetooth range extended and support for Autodesk BIM360 now available for Leica Geosystems iCT30

AutoDesk University, Las Vegas, NV – November 21, 2019

Intuicom®, Incorporated, a premier developer of wireless solutions, has announced the upgraded Bluetooth Bridge™, the BTB-200, which expands support for the latest Construction Layout tools with Autodesk BIM 360 and the newly released Leica Geosystem’s iCON iCT30 Construction Layout tool. Intuicom’s Bluetooth Bridge extends range and performance on building sites, where RF interference makes standard communication methods challenging.

Expanding upon the integration with Topcon Layout instruments and support for the Leica iCON iCR70 and iCR80 robotic total station integrations last year, the Bluetooth Bridge now supports the iCT30, Leica’s high-performance construction layout tool for building construction layout applications designed as an easy-to-use and affordable solution to increase productivity.

Intuicom Bluetooth Bridge product has proven that it improves productivity and efficiency of Construction Layout and As-Built applications. By extending range of operation for the robotic total stations and layout tools, the Bluetooth Bridge reduces the number of set-ups, and interruptions in operations, further reducing labor time and mistakes- improving efficiency. Additionally, the Bluetooth Bridge provides the connectivity to Autodesk BIM360 applications, further improving the Layout and As-built processes.

Tom Foley, President and CEO for Intuicom states “We are very excited to add the support for additional construction tools including Leica Geosystems newest iCON Construction tool, the iCT30 to the capabilities of the Bluetooth Bridge. This is a natural extension of the other iCON and Leica Geosystems’ total stations that we have supported since we released the Bluetooth Bridge, and should expand the productivity with Autodesk’s BIM360 application.”
