League City, Texas moves to replace outdated communication equipment with Intuicom Broadband & BroadBandPro 5 Management Software
Boulder, CO – February 24, 2021 – Intuicom®, Incorporated, a premier developer of wireless solutions, has announced a new project win for its Broadband products into the League City, Texas for Traffic and Transportation management. Working with their premiere distributor, Paradigm Traffic Systems, Intuicom’s wireless solutions will expand bandwidth and system performance integrating the critical traffic and transportation communications for the city.
The city’s existing wireless network had become problematic and difficult to maintain. Unfortunately, the Canadian manufacturer of the installed radios couldn’t provide them an upgrade path without having to replace all their units. Intuicom demonstrated a solution to transition to the new wireless system while providing a way to communicate the existing radios with new Intuicom units. Following Intuicom’s proposed strategy, League City is now able to upgrade their network as budget and times
allow, without causing major disruptions to their upgrade plans.
Intuicom’s Broadband products combined with BroadbandPro 5™ Management software provide a complete communication solution for the city’s transportation system. This new system will support operational and performance infrastructure while also providing video access to the city’s camera network, while delivery necessary data metrics to the city and state DOT.
